This project represents a very typical way in which we work with clients. The developer loved our plans and contacted their builder to get in touch with us. After some back and forth on the phone, we decided on 6 plans that they wanted to use for their new development, The Cottages. Unfortunately, the developer was a little late in contacting us as the master plan was already approved. We would have suggested a more efficient lot layout and alleys that would have been more appropriate for our home plans. Instead we adapted a few of our home plans to meet their needs. We bumped the square footages up a bit on a few of the plans, added attached garages, reconfigured a few kitchens, and simplified some of the porch details. While these redrawn plans do not represent what we consider “true green bungalows”, we are happy that our new homes look 400% (give or take) better than the previous homes. Yes, we may be a little biased.
